National Paralympic Day, an innovative event combining disability sport and art, was launched in 2013 to celebrate the achievements of ParalympicsGB and inspire participation in disability sports. Today, National Paralympic Day will take place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, Centenary Square in Birmingham, and Chavasse Park in Liverpool. Tomorrow it will take place in Glasgow at the Braehead Centre. Thousands of people are expected to take part, try a disability sport and meet some of our great Paralympic medal winners. Here's full itinerary of today's events, including: Boccia/Goalball, Swimming and Wheelchair Basketball. People will also have a chance to meet the athletes.
